East India Buddha Tour

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrival at the Delhi Airport or The Railway Station, you will be received
by our representative and escorted to the hotel. Check in at Hotel and relax.
Later in the afternoon proceed for a half-day city tour of Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast, full Day city tour of old & modern capital of India.
Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction
was started in 1844 and was not completed until 1658, Red Fort, which was
also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648, Chandni
Chowk and Rajghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Witness the India
Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament. Visit Humayun's Tomb, built
in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture Qutab
Minar. The tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir).
Overnight stay at Hotel in Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi - Sravasti
After breakfast proceed further to reach Periyyar. Arrival at Sravasti, check
in the Hotel for some relax. Afternoon visit the sightseeing tour of Sravasti.
Late evening back to the hotel and enjoy dinner of Indian food. Overnight
stay at Hotel in Sravasti.
Day 04 : Sravasti - Lumbini
Morning drive to Balrampur enroute visit Lumbini- the birthplace of Lord Buddha
and the Lumbini Garden. In the afternoon visit the Mayadevi temple. Overnight
stay at Hotel in Lumbini.
Day 05 : Lumbini - Kushinagar
From Lumbini proceed Kushinagar. One of the principal centers of Buddhist
pilgrimage is Kushinagar where Shakyamuni entered Mahaparinirvana his death
and cremation, that marked his final liberation from the cycles of death and
rebirth. Overnight stay at Hotel in Kushinagar.
Day 06 : Kushinagaraishali - Patna
These cities mark the ancient glory of the Ashokan & Chanakyan Era.Morning
leave for Patna en-route visit Vaishali. The site where Buddha was offered
a bowlful of honey by the monkeys, a miracle at the nature. It was here that
Lichchhavis erected a Stupa over their share of the relics of the Buddha after
Parinirvana of the latter.Continue journey to Varanasi. Upon arrival transfer
to hotel for overnight.
Day 07 : Patna - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya
Morning journey to Patna. Arrive and drive to Bodh Gaya for Patna enroute
visiting Rajgir, which is a great holy place of the Buddhists. It is the ancient
Rajagriha or Girivraja, the capital of the ancient kingdom of Magadha.
Continue to Nalanda, the world famous ruins of Nalanda University. Continue
drive to Bodhgaya. Arrive and transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 08 : Bodhgaya - Varanasi
Morning leave for Varanasi enroute visit Sarnath. Sarnath. The site where
Buddha delivered his first sermon to his five disciples, preaching the middle
path for attaining 'Nirvana'. Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 09 : Varanasi - Allahabad - Kanpur
Morning leave for Kanpur en-route visit Allahabad. Later city sight seeing.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Kanpur.
Day 10 : Kanpur - Sanksya - Agra
Proceed to Agra th next day en-route visit Sanksya. Arrive and transfer to
hotel for overnight.
Day 11 : Agra - Delhi
Breakfast at hotel. Later city sight seeing. Lunch at hotel. Proceed for Delhi.
