The Manaslu circuit is one of the best remote area treks in Nepal. The route sees relatively few trekkers. The route follows the rugged gorge of the Budhi Gandaki for the first half before crassing the Larkya pass and descending down in to the marshyangdi khola. The villages in the upper reaches are mainly inhabited by Gurungs until Namru border is only few kilometers to the north. The trekking route around Manaslu Himal is such a faxcinating trip with great Himalayan view and a bit challenge at the same time, Exploring the highland villages of Nepal thrills a trekker to cross over a pass (Larkya La) which is the tough part of the trek.
