This trek crosses three relatively high passes, good paths are followed throughout and there is no trekking on glaciers. At the edge of the Tibetan Plateau in the Himalayan rain shadow lies Dolpo - thelegendary hidden land closed for years to trekkers. The lack of other tourists, the warm welcome given by the hardy Dolpo-Pa and the fascinating insight into the Tibetan way of life makes this an extremely varied and special trek. A unique trek in Nepal, it is ideally suited to both beginners and those who have "been everywhere". You haven't until you've been to Dolpo.
Day to Day Itinerary:-
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu transportation to hotel.
Day 02: City Sightseeing & trek permit preparing.
Day 03: Kathmandu-Nepalgunj by plane or by bus one night hotel.
Day 04: Nepalgunj-Juphal camp in Dunai(2190m).
Day 05: Dunai Bazar-Yelakot(2590m).
Day 06: Yelakot-Orar(3580m).
Day 07: Orar-Dho Tarab(4080m).
Day 08: Dho Tarap-One day rest.
Day 09: Dho Tarab-Jhya Kongma(4680m).
Day 10: Jhya Kongma-Chhulung Sumana(4300m).
Day 11: Chhulung Sumana-Ting Kyu(5130m).
Day 12: Ting Kyu-Shimen(3920m).
Day 13: Shimen-Kowa(4170m).
Day 14: Kowa-Saldang(3960m).
Day 15: Saldang-Phedi(4680m).
Day 16: Phedi-Shey Gompa(4280m).
Day 17: Shey Gompa-One day rest.
Day 18: Shey Gompa-Phoksumdo Khola(3550m).
Day 19: Phoksumdo Khola-Ringmu(3650m).
Day 20: Ringmu-Sepka(3060m).
Day 21: Sepka-Dunai(2190m).
Day 22: Dunai-Juphal Airport(2510m).
Day 23: Juphal Airport-Nepalganj by plane & back to Kathmandu.
Day 24: Kathmandu sightseeing or shopping last day.
Day 25: Transfer to the airport for international departure.
Note: *The departure schedule can be change on any unavoidable
circumstances such as weather hazards, hatural changes of walking track, road
slides, and avalanches, public strikes.
